1. What’s one thing you wish everyone understood about water in California?
How valuable it is to our everyday lives.
2. Favorite part of your job?
Educating the public and working with water agencies across CA!

Flow monitoring devices/leak alerts

7. Where in CA do you most want to visit that you’ve never been to before?
Humboldt Redwoods State Park
8. What’s your hottest water take?
I don't think we should engineer our way out of problems, nature-based solutions for the win!
9. If you weren’t working in water, what would you be doing?
Event planning, recreation, or dance
10. What gives you hope?
The amount of people who work to make the world a better place in the face of so much uncertainty.
11. What’s something about California water that still amazes you?
The engineering feat that is the California Aqueduct.
12. What’s one water habit you wish every Californian would adopt?
Turn off the water when you're brushing your teeth <3
13. What’s the most interesting water fact you know?
There used to be a lake in the San Joaquin Valley which was the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. It is sometimes referred to as a "ghost lake" because every once and a while it'll return during very wet winters.
14. What’s the most CA thing about you?
When I'm having a hard day I drive to the beach and listen to the ocean to destress.
15. How do you drink your water?
Insulated cup, from a straw, no more than 5 cubes of ice

17. What would your colleagues say you’re known for?
Diving in and problem solving - no fear! ,🤘

I don’t like spoons. Forks are superior. (The CalWEP team learned this at lunch when we got ice cream and felt it was important to include in this interview)
