FAQ Answers:
How do I get my user login and password?

Many members already have usernames and passwords created for calwep.org.  Provided you already have a user account, you can reset your password and gain access to your account with only 1) access to your email account and 2) your username.  Your Partnership username for calwep.org will be your first name and last name with no spaces.  This login information was also sent to the primary contact at your organization in the Spring of 2014. If you work for a water agency, the primary contact is likely the person submitting your BMP reports

Please do not create a new account.  If you do not have a user account, please contact us at admin@calwep.org and send us your email signature - we will create a new account for you.  If you need immediate assistance you can call us at 916-552-5885.

BMPReporting. CalWEP.org:  Water agency primary contacts should have one data entry login and one submitter login for BMP reporting.  If you have questions about accessing the BMP reporting website, please contact us at admin@calwep.org or 916-552-5885.

I forgot my password, how can I reset it?
To reset your password, simply click on the reset password button upon login.  A confirmation link will be sent to your email address on file to initiate the reset process.

What browsers are supported?
Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer (Version 9.x and greater) should all function comparably with the Partnership's website.  The website is responsive to the browser width and will usually render well on tablets and smartphones.

Why do the navigation links at the top of the website sometimes appear as a Menu button on the right side of the screen?

The website will render responsively to your browser width, and when the browser width is narrow (or you are zoomed into the page) the menu will appear as a button on the right - this feature is primarily for tablets and smartphones.  If this is happening on your browser and you would like to see the navigation menu, you can a) increase the width of your browser, or b) zoom your browser out (Windows press "control" plus "-" buttons simultaneously; Apple press "command" plus "-" buttons simultaneously).

What content must I login to access?
Some of the site’s new features are for members in good standing only.  That is, those members whose dues were paid through the end of 2016.  (We realize that many members are still in the process of paying their 2017 dues.)  Members need to login to access member only tools such as BMP reporting and implementation tools.  The BMP reporting database is also restricted to Partnership members in good standing.

How do I submit a news article to the member news feed?
To submit an article to our member news feed, please email a link to the article to admin@calwep.org.

How do I access the BMP reporting database and related resources?
The BMP reporting database and resources page is listed under the resources tab in the navigation menu.  To login to complete your BMP reporting you will need either a data entry or submitter password.  These login credentials were sent to the primary contact at your water agency in June 2013.  For more information, please contact us at admin@calwep.org.

How do I access the historical credit database?
Historical credit is used for some target calculations, such as the number of surveys required in BMP 3, and is also important for agencies using the Flex Track option.  Click here for a link to the Historical Credit database, and here for a link to the Historical Credit users guide.  The login information is located within the user guide on page 4.  Before logging in you will need your agency's reporting unit number.  Your reporting unit number is listed on your coverage reports.  Historical credit data is open for review until June 4, 2014.  The historical credit database does not work in the Chrome browser.  For further assistance, please contact us at admin@calwep.org.

How do I join a committee and start receiving meeting notifications by email?

To join a committee, please email the committee chairs and staff and ask to join the committee.  Once contacted, staff will add you to the committee email list.  To find the committee chairs and staff contact information, please visit the committee page.  If you cannot find this contact info, please email office@calwep.org and list the committee(s) you would like to join.

How do I keep CalWEP emails out of my junk mail?
Most Partnership emails are distributed via MailChimp, which helps prevent the emails from being routed to most junk mail boxes.  If you are not receiving Partnership emails, please send this link to your IT/Email administrator to whitelist our email.  They should be able to whitelist the CalWEP Email Server IP Addresses.

Where do I find FAQ and refund policy for the store?
For the store FAQ, please see http://calwep.org/Store/FAQ.  For the refund policy, please see: http://calwep.org/Store/Refund-Policy

How can I receive news automatically with RSS on the Partnership Website?
You can receive news automatically from the Partnership to your browser, email client (such as outlook), or a news feed program using Rich Site Summary (RSS).  Each method works a little differently, below are some links to get you started with some common software that you may already be using on a daily basis.  What each method will have in common is finding the little orange RSS icon on next to a Partnership news feed and using the program instructions to add the link data from this icon to your RSS program.

Microsoft OutlookGoogle ChromeMozilla FirefoxInternet Explorer, or search the web for RSS news aggregators for more software options.  To get more specific instructions, you may want to search for your specific program version - such as Outlook 2007, Internet Explorer 7, etc.
