Drought Emergency Workshops – Rancho Cucamonga - CA-NV, AWWA
Attend one of AWWA’s Drought Workshops being offered this year to help water agencies better manage their way through current water supply deficits in all watersheds. Updates will be provided on state-wide water conditions, related policies, and the Governor’s Drought Emergency measures. Available resources from DWR and AWWA will be discussed to assist with local drought planning and implementation programs tailored for your conditions and challenges.
The Workshop will offer short term drought response measures that water agencies can implement now to help meet 2015 water use reduction goals. Longer term strategies for managing limited water supplies will be addressed including landscape water management programs, recycled water use, and other non-potable water uses. Water Loss Control for water utility systems, drought rates and public outreach will also be discussed. Learn what others are doing to address the 2015 drought conditions when you attend one of our workshops.
