Registration Policy for Water Audit II Workshops:
The Council will do everything possible to accommodate you and your agency’s desire to participate in these workshops. However, because these are DWR funded events we are reserving priority seating to the targeted audience. Seating is limited to 20 attendees for each workshop. The targeted audience is water agencies that have already received basic water audit training or have submitted an AWWA water audit to the Council – click here for a list. If demand for any workshop exceeds the space available, we will ask that agencies send only two employees (not consultants or third party contractors). All other persons interested in attending the workshops will be accommodated on a space available basis. Seats are will be available on a first come, first serve basis. After the early registration deadline we will open any remaining seating to all interested parties. We will maintain a waitlist and review it two weeks and one week in advance of the workshop and notify individuals of any changes. Any registrations within one week may have to provide their own lunch.

Council Water Audit Data Validation Workshops
The Council in partnership with DWR is holding 8-10 water loss workshops around California between September 2015 and March 2016. The target audience for these one-day hands-on workshops is agencies who have already completed a basic water audit course. See the water loss resources page for more information on basic courses.  The classes will be taught by Reinhard Sturm and Kate Gasner from Water Systems Optimization.

Class objectives are to train workshop participants in advanced water audit concepts including the AWWA Free System Water Audit Software (v5) taught at a non-beginner level; effective data validation practices; and how to develop a detailed action plan to improve agency data validation processes.

The workshops are partly funded through the California Department of Water Resources and you do not need to be Council member attend the workshops. Class size will be limited to 20 attendees. All California water agencies are welcome to register one or more attendees. A priority seating policy will be applied to any workshops that fill and have a wait-list (back-order).
